The Glasgow Distillery has partnered with watch specialist FIODH to transform oak staves previously used to mature its flagship Glasgow 1770 Single Malt Scotch Whisky into a handcrafted timepiece.
Assembled in FIODH’s studio in Glasgow’s East End, the partnership has produced a limited run of two styles of whisky watch, available in natural oak and in black. Sebastian Bunford-Jones, Global Marketing Manager at The Glasgow Distillery commented:

Michael Youmans, founder of FIODH adds, “We have been creating premium watches since 2018, having worked with whisky brands from all over Scotland. It’s great to finally collaborate with a fellow Glaswegian brand on the first ever Glasgow whisky watch. Working with The Glasgow Distillery enabled the production of a thoroughly Glaswegian product, meaning the wearer can bring a piece of the city’s heritage with them wherever they go."
